What is The Deli?
The Deli is an 3 years old independent publication and website that focuses on local indie music scenes and emerging artists (from rock to folk, with a little bit of hip hop). It currently publishes a printed magazine about the NYC music scene and has daily updated , separate webpages tackling the new emerging music in NYC, LA, SF and Nashville.

What is The Deli LA?
The Deli LA is a daily updated website focused on the independent music scene of the LA Area.

Mission Statement
The Deli LA is a resource for Los Angeles musical artists and fans. We want to be a place for bands to share their music with others, and for fans to make their own decisions about what local music they enjoy.

CD Submission Policy
The Deli LA only reviews music from artists based in Los Angeles and surroundings.

LA Associate Editor
Bryce is a commercial photographer and journalist. He's also waiting tables to pay off student loans. He loves humming rock and hip-hop while surfing the Socal sidewalks.

Adena Harford - Staff Writer
Adena Harford is a music writer and poet proud of her East Coast influence. She considers 'hipster' a dirty word, and vows never to use it in her writing. Sometimes she posts under the alias "Mean Dean" because she thinks she is funny. Let her know.

Alex Valles - Staff Writer
Alex is a young college student with too much time on his hands and not enough money in his pockets (accepts PayPal). Likes: Bukowski, Surfer Rosa, '72 Teles. Dislikes: n00bs on Halo 3, people with an apathy for life, "pop-punk" and the like.

Melissa Bobbitt - Contributing Writer
Despite common assumption, Melissa is NOT related to those famous Bobbitts. But she does enjoying slicing through the bull of prim and proper music journalism, and contributes regularly to Alternative Press, Venus Zine, Chord and Mean Street.

Rey Garza - Staff Writer
Rey is the founding member of Album Buyers Anonymous, a 12-step program for people addicted to buying albums of all kinds. Rey is also stuck in the 80’s and blogs about music whenever he isn’t working for The Man.

Hugo Gomez - Staff Writer
Hugo is an arts and entertainment writer around town and a pianist with emphasis on "music that makes money." He also resents the overuse of the word "sonically" and all its variations.
