The Deli Nashville Staff

Madison Conger - Associate Editor
Madison was born and raised in Nashville, TN. He became enamored with the local music scene at an early age and continues to follow it to this day. Madison currently attends college pursuing a degree in English, and tries to go to as many shows as possible. Madison has booked a few concerts at local clubs and worked with some small local radio stations, but he decided he would much rather write about music instead. Madison hopes to continue writing and one day move to Japan.

Ryan Bruce - Assistant Editor
Ryan Bruce is 26 years old and grew up in northern Alabama. Yes, he grew up on a farm and yes he knows how cool that is. At the age of 12 Ryan began playing drums in his first rock band called dain bramage, who's name was ripped off from one of kurt cobain's first bands.
RocknRoll has influenced Ryan ever since and he continues to play drums as well as book and promote shows here in Nashville. You will be able to catch him at shows throughout the week or frequenting the red door (east). Buy him a beer the next time you see him and he will probably dance with you or give you a nice firm handshake.

Jesse Baker
- Contributing Writer
Jesse Baker is a drummer from Nashville, born and raised, who has been in the music scene here for about 10 years. You've probably seen him if you shop at record stores in the area. Past writing credits include local websites Nashville Hard Music and Nashville Underground (both now defunct). He runs door part time at the End, and otherwise books and promotes shows in and around town under the name How's Your Music?. Jesse's been in various bands through the years and is currently working on a solo project, as well as some smaller scale musical endeavors. He is also teaming with a few folks to work on an information-driven zine to be distributed across the country. Jesse likes music with passion and drive, no matter what the genre, and would like to encourage everyone to go to more shows!

Jason Goucher - Contributing Writer
Jason was born and raised in a small town in northwest Pennsylvania called Oil City.
Despite the population being less than ten thousand, there was a thriving underground indie scene. He soon found himself going to shows in firehalls and basements and seeing many diverse musical acts playing. It was a bit of a culture shock for him when he came to Murfreesboro. Seeing bands play in bars and clubs with professional equipment was a bit out of the ordinary. But he soon discovered there was a growing house show scene in the Boro as well. Jason is currently attending MTSU and majoring in recording industry business. He hopes to continue writing about music and own a venue someday.
