What is The Deli?
The Deli is an independent publication and website that focuses on local indie music scenes and emerging artists (from rock to folk, with a little bit of hip hop). It currently publishes a printed magazine about the NYC music scene and has daily updated , separate webpages tackling the new emerging music in NYC, LA, SF and Nashville.

The Deli SF is a daily updated website focused on the independent music scene of the SF Bay Area.

Mission Statement
The Deli SF is a resource for bay area musical artists and fans. We want to be a place for bands to share their music with others, and for fans to make their own decisions about what local music they enjoy.

CD Submission Policy
The Deli SF only reviews music from the SF Bay Area based artists.

Anna is a UC Santa Cruz alum, and currently plays the role of UC Berkeley employee by day, music geek/live show enthusiast by night. She enjoys riding her bike, sewing, coffee shops, a pint of good IPA, TV on DVD, movies at the Parkway, and listening to her favorite albums on vinyl.

Rachel Allgood - Staff Writer
Rachel is a San Francisco-based producer-engineer with over 10 years experience. She's worked with artists such as New Order and Vanessa Carlton and countless members of the local scene. Read more at http://rachelallgood.net/.

Natalia Cooper - Staff Writer
Natalia Cooper is a Bay Area transplant (from Boston) whose love for indie rock was recently resuscitated. She's part of the newly-formed band Castle to Castle. When not obsessing about music, Natalia rides her bike around Lake Merritt to stalk pelicans. She is also known as a Breeders superfan, as well a Brian Jonestown Massacre enthusiast and burlesque scholar.

Liz Iversen - Staff Writer
Liz is a writer, photographer and videographer. A native Midwesterner, she enjoys headphones, tea lattes and public transportation.

Phil Matarese - Staff Writer
Phil is the guitarist for San Francisco based surprise rock band The Chop. Interests include live music, vocal harmony, low-fi recordings, bourbon whiskey, Law & Order reruns, and nerding it up on the internet.

Eric Ritz - Staff Writer
Eric is 27 yr. old. He has seen John Stamos drum
for the Beach Boys. His mother has commented on how sexy John Stamos looked in his leather tassle vest. Eric hates freedom, but also owns an above averageamount of denim.
